My articles emerge depending on what ever tickles my fancy; hope you enjoy the ride. It started several years ago when one of my op-ed pieces to the Houston Chronicle got butchered; been blogging ever since.

Tropical Storm Hermine
Here in Houston we’ve been lucky so far this hurricane season. There’s Tropical Storm Hermine churning along the coast, expected to turn in near the border with Mexico; but even at that distance rain bands are crossing Houston, the first came earlier this morning and another is just about to…make that IS hitting now.
We’ll be using the George Foreman grill to cook hamburgers this Labor Day instead of the backyard grill. I picked up a box of frozen Buba Burgers patties while at Wal-mart the other day.
Have a happy and safe Labor Day.
