An AP article about Black minorities associating with the Tea Party movement made for interesting reading this morning. The media has made up what they consider the role model citizen who is supposed to be a Tea Partier; white, male, middle age, suburban racist. My goodness, they pegged me; but all this time I thought the Tea Party movement was about ideology; just goes to show how much you can learn from the news media.
In case you’re new to my style, that last line was pure sarcasm. Getting back to the AP article, Black Tea Party Activists Called “Traitors” , I did find one truism worth bringing to light.
“Hilary Shelton, director of the Washington bureau of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, suggested a bit of caution.”
“I’m sure the reason that (black conservatives) are involved is that from an ideological perspective, they agree,” said Shelton. “But when those kinds of things happen, it is very important to be careful of the company that you keep.”
I guess Ms Shelton would take into account Obama’s close association with home grown terrorist Bill Ayers. Maybe she meant Obama’s spiritual adviser, the Rev. Wright; well known for his, “G D America”, outburst. Could she also be making reference to Obama’s Marxist advisers, of which the list is nearly endless?
I was tempted to include Victoria Jackson strumming a ukulele on her YouTube video, the one where she sings “There’s a communist living in the White House” ; but only a middle age, white conservative racist Tea Partier living in suburbia would sink that low. While we may differ on many issues, Hilary Shelton got one thing right, “…it is very important to be careful of the company that you keep.”

Hmmm, let see. How about we start by replacing theanti-constitutional anarcho-tyrannists who are The Ø!'s partners in crime in Congress, come November? Then remove The Ø! from office based on any number of "high crimes and misdemeanors" based on, if nothing else, his direct assaults on the COnstitution and his pet gerbil, Joe Biden for having nothing between his ears but stale, mildewed kibble. After Cwazy Uncle Joe has had an acceptable replacement for himself nominated and confirmed.
Well, a guy can dream, can't he? At least until more thought crime "laws" are enacted.

Nicely weaseled, absolved the black because of their good intentions, smeared the rest as racists anyway.
I'm just hoping that the more these haters smear the Tea Partiers, the more people will be drawn to them and away from the elitists.
The left has been using the race card for so long you'd have thought it would have been worn out by now; not so. They re-invent it every year and play it to the victims of capitalism and conservative values; those too stupid or lazy to make a go of it in a competitive society.
Well now, there's a thing.

"Cheap"? No one who knows what you drive for a toy could honestly call you "cheap". :-)

Isn't black on black crime racist?
Ron, Black on Black is what keeps folks like "the Rev. Jackson" in business. These kind thrive by keeping their own race in poverty and feeling like victims. There was a fellow, wish I could remember his name, on the Michael Berry radio show a couple of days ago, a black man who exposes the "race card" for what it is, a tool to divide rather than heal racial tensions.
