Orwellian Present
Two blogs in a row I’ve used the word Orwellian; not a good sign folks. Maybe we as a society should take a time out; American was never supposed to end up like this.
The public sector cannot increase production, only add to the tax drain on those who actually produce. The only time increases in public sector jobs should be looked at as a good thing is when the economy is booming to the point where money is flowing and everyone is having a good time.

A parable of the modern age: Employment is up in the "public sector" (while private sector employment continues to decline). *sigh*
And employment in pseudo-law-enfarcement agencies (like those pictured, all apparently exceeding Constitutional bounds) is WAY up.
