Each year one of our music stations plays continuous Christmas music from Thanksgiving on through Christmas Day. Some folks find that a bit annoying; then again there are all those other stations to pick from, so what room have they to complain.
One of Lucy’s favorite songs, Mary Did You Know; was posted on her Facebook page yesterday. We listened to it, tears streaming down our cheeks as the message of the Gospel flowed clearly and beautifully through their offering. It occurred to me, this song fits the category of Gospel in a nutshell , no different than passages of scripture which, in a few short paragraphs of written word, are able to explain the focal point of Christian faith.
