Double Standard

I was reading a Reuters news story ( linked via the title bar), U.S. court allows survey of children on sex topics, and the thought occurred to me that a double standard was being applied to accommodate an agenda, that being to destroy the family unit and exchange that entity with a collective, the State being a replacement for the family.



“A group of parents whose children were surveyed sued the Palmdale School District, alleging their right to privacy and civil rights had been violated because control of their children's upbringing had been "robbed."

A three-judge panel held the parents have a right to inform their children as they wish about sex but do not have the right to prevent a public school from providing students with information it deems
appropriate.

"Schools cannot be expected to accommodate the personal, moral or religious concerns of every parent," Judge Stephen Reinhardt wrote for the panel. "Such an obligation would not only contravene the educational mission of the public schools, but also would be impossible to satisfy."


Just for the sake of argument; instead of a school question poll on sex, try a different topic, one which might involve one parent’s dissatisfaction with a particular school program. I seem to recall how school Christmas pageants and plays used to include traditional Christian songs. Children would sing, “Silent Night”, “We Three Kings” and other thought provoking songs prior to the Christmas break. All of these are now banned and in place of “Mary did you know” or “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”, we are to accept “Frosty the Snowman” or some other neutral Winter Solstice pap because Christian songs are harmful to those who either have no faith or a different faith..

Oh, I forgot, “Schools cannot be expected to accommodate the personal, moral or religious concerns of every parent, unless the person complaining is an Atheist, Wicken or Muslim in which case we can accommodate such compelling demands to prevent those children from being exposed to Christian beliefs”

Our textbooks can teach certain parts of our nation’s history as long as no reference to religion is involved. A good example would be Patrick Henry’s famous line, Give me liberty or give me death.” I suspect most every student has heard that line and would recognize it from the Revolutionary War period; what they would not have is an understanding of the deep religious message, a significant part of that line which has been edited out of the textbooks as well as the teaching curriculum. What is important enough to cause a perfectly sound individual such powerful sentiments, those worth dying for?



"It is in vain, sir, to extentuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace--but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash
of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that
gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"

“Forbid it, Almighty God!”, but, that would mean that the State has decided that God, the Christian God, that same God who inspired the framers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, that God who has His hand on the affairs of government. It would mean that the State is not our god and would run in a different direction than the “agenda”.

While it may not be on the front cover of the teacher’s handbook, the agenda is always in front of them; in case you are unfamiliar with the Communist Agenda, read The Naked Communist by W. Cleon Skousen. You will find a list of the individual issues needed to be addressed in order to destroy the United States of America by removing the foundations upon which it was built.

Here are some excerpts from The Naked Communist. The information is in the Congressional Record August 1963 and in the Communist Manifesto:


U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.


Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the U.S. would be a demonstration of moral strength.


Permit free trade between all nations regardless of communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.


Provide American aid to all nations regardless of communist domination.


Set up East West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.S.


Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the United Nations.


Promote the United Nations as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.


Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. ( just rename it the Democratic Party and nobody will be the wiser ...added)


Do away with loyalty oaths.


Capture one or both of the political parties in the U.S.


Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.


Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current communist propaganda. Get control of the teachers associations.


Gain control of all student newspapers.


Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.


Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and motion pictures.


Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorship and a violation of free speech and free press.


Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures and TV.


Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural and healthy.


Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion.


Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a religious crutch.


Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principles of separation of church and state.


Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.


Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the grounds that it was only a minor part in the big picture.


Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the communist apparatus.


Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.


Discredit the family as an institution.


Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.


Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents

.
Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American
traditions; that students and special interest groups should rise up and use
united force to solve economic, political and social problems.


Going back over the wording of the court where Judge Stephen Reinhardt wrote that the public school had the best interests of the children, more so than even the parents, "Such an obligation would not only contravene the educational mission of the public schools, but also would be impossible to satisfy." “The “educational mission of the public schools”, and you thought it was reading, writing and arithmetic…
