Knowledge Comes With a Price Tag

I am not a talk show host or some kind of celebrity who gets perks on the side. ( That’s not entirely true; last week I got some complimentary tickets from Munday Chevrolet, to see the Auto Show just because I was their locksmith. My wife, both of my daughters and even my grandson had a wonderful time and saved some money.)

I was listening to the afternoon talk show, a brief interview with Mark Levin. He was given a chance to hype his new book, “Men In Black: How the Supreme Court Is Destroying America”. It was one of those interviews that I wished I could have listened to from beginning to end; however, I still have to work for a living. The good thing is I was able to get some work done; great except that when the job I was doing was over, so was the interview.

It did get me hooked on the idea that I wanted a copy of his book. I do remember the talk show host going on about how neat it was that he had already read his “Free” copy and was more than excited about the information it had. I put my order in; should be about a week before I get to do some first hand digging into the book. It cost me $ 18.45 at Amazon.com, that was the reduced price since I bought some other books while I was there. Those are crafty folks and they know that book junkies can never eat just one.

That should be an interesting read. I think Rush Limbaugh discussed it a few weeks back, in conjunction with the debate between Antonin Scalia and Stephen Breyer.

Hope you saw a Chevrolet that you liked!
